Hillhurst Mortgage - James Charlton

James is a dedicated Loan Officer born and raised in the United Kingdom. He lived in London until immigrating to Los Angeles in 2017. After earning a Business Management degree from the University of Exeter, where he played on the college soccer team, James completed his master’s degree at University College London. He then ventured into education, working as a Business and Economics teacher in London for three years.

Seeking a new life in sunny Los Angeles, James transitioned into the mortgage industry, where he has accumulated seven years of experience working with reputable banks and direct lenders before joining Hillhurst Mortgage. During this time, James has assisted hundreds of households in achieving and sustaining homeownership. He is committed to advising and educating his customers throughout the mortgage process, whether they are first-time buyers or returning clients seeking refinancing.

Outside of work, James enjoys playing soccer and golf on weekends. He also loves hiking and taking trips to the beach with his wife and their baby daughter.
